Building Community

At Heartwood Design/Build, we are very committed to giving back to the local community. We take great pride and pleasure in being able to sponsor community events, local youth athletics, and volunteer our skills for community building and improvement projects.

As a company we are actively involved in the local community because of the pleasure it brings us, but also because we know that our success is dependent on the strength and growth of the local community.

Since our inception Heartwood has taken an active role in the local community and we will continue to do so in the future. Some of the local events and youth athletics we've been proud to sponsor include: North Coast Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mad River Youth Soccer League, Muscular Dystrophy Association, The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, and Arcata Recreation Youth Basketball, to name a few. We are also committed to volunteering our building skills for local community improvement projects.
